Informatics is looking for a Database Administrator Oracle.

You will be responsible for all of our inhouse and clients’ Oracle Database systems ensuring smooth operations while establishing and following industry best practices. You will be standby round the clock to support our overseas customers in different time zones
Primary Responsibilities

• Monitor and address database capacity issues.
• Experience in analysis of data tablespace TEMP UNDO tablespace growth, RAC installation/ maintenance and exports imports data pump.
• Analyse performance issues using AWR, ADDM, ASH reports.
• Identify tuning opportunities, implement improvements and advising developers on SQL tuning options.
• Provide process and configuration improvements consistently.
• Produce clear and structured documentation, flowcharts and layouts.
• Interact with app developers, management, database and database tool vendors to ensure customer solutions are provided on time.
• Debug Oracle forms/ reports and fix, fine-tune & enhance the existing code.

Technical Requirements

• Sound knowledge on Oracle 11g/ 12c/ 19c architecture.
• Sound knowledge in DBVISIT and related features.
• Hands-on experience in ODA related components and features.
• Experience in 11g/ 12c/ 19c database creation, software binary installations in Unix and Windows environment.
• Good exposure in 11g/ 12c/ 19c backup/ recovery, best practices, support, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience on Physical standby data guard, Drid OEM administration, database restoration/ recovery and account maintenance.
• Well versed with oracles upgrades and familiar with 11g/ 12c/ 19c features.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience as Oracle Database Administrator.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or any other related field.
• Being an Oracle certified professional and/ or Oracle Certified Expert and/ or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate would be a definite advantage.
