Colombo, 22/09/2023 – In an exciting announcement, the Informatics Group of Companies is thrilled to introduce its new Group CEO, Mr. Mohan Fernando. This appointment marks a significant milestone for the organization and underscores its commitment to leadership excellence and innovation.

Mr. Mohan Fernando is no stranger to the Informatics family. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Informatics International Limited (IIL) in 2015, where his dedicated and visionary leadership left an indelible mark. Currently, he holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) since 2020. Mr. Fernando’s integrity, industry expertise, and unwavering commitment to excellence have earned him recognition from the Board of Informatics, who have entrusted him with the crucial role of leading the company into new horizons.

With an impressive educational background, Mr. Fernando holds an MSc in Applied Psychology from Coventry University, UK, and a PGD in Applied Statistics from the University of Colombo. He also boasts a BSc (Hon) in Pure Mathematics from the University of Peradeniya and has been honored as the National Prize winner for Quantitative Methods by ABE, UK. Throughout his career, Mr. Fernando has held key CXO positions at prominent organizations such as Zone 24×7 Inc, Informatics International Limited, Lanka Hospitals Diagnostics (Pvt) Ltd, Firstsource Dialog Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, and HSBC Group Services Centre.
