The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the UN agency mandated to develop air travel standards, has listed Informatics as a partner on their website, the only Sri Lankan company to be listed under ICAO. These standards are being used by sevral countries including the Department of immigration and Emigration of Sri Lanka.

Speaking to the Business Times, Informatics International Ltd General Manager Austen Mascranghe, said, “The Border Control System is developed by Informatics International Limited (IIL), with ISO 9001: 2000 and SEI CMMI – Level 3 accreditation. This is the software and services arm of the Informatics Group.”

He said IIL has achieved a global reputation for its Telecom Software Product suite ‘AvaBill’ which is in use in 15 countries. IIL also has produced a comprehensive state-of-the-art General Insurance System that has being used by both local and overseas insurance companies.
